It is with great sense of honour and joy that we write this tribute about our highly esteemed father in the Lord; Pastor E.A. Adeboye (Daddy G.O.), on the occasion of his 80th birthday celebration.
Daddy is passionate about the Kingdom; he serves the Master with vigour. He is a spiritual colossus, an exceptional leader, an excellent teacher of the word, and a prophet to nations with an unblemished record.
Daddy is a builder of men, lover of children, a believer in the upcoming generation; this may be the reason for his uncommon strength even at 80!
Your life has infected many with such virtues as Holiness, humility, Discipline, Contentment, good relationship, not holding grudge, love to all and many more. There is never a dull moment with you; you brought dignity to spirituality, without watering down its essence. You taught us that the work of God demands both fervency and diligence.
You are an ardent soldier of Christ just like the Spartan soldiers of old, a committed Soldier of the cross and a rugged Evangelist. You have lived an exemplary life, so transparent for all to see and emulate.
It is indeed a privilege for us to be one of your spiritual children. Congrats Sir and best wishes for the years ahead.
